16/1 – 10:00-15:00 Öresund region conference: live, study, work

Open conference organised by students from the European Studies bachelor’s programme at Malmö University. Welcome to the first annual Öresund: Live, Study, Work Conference and get the opportunity to learn more about what the Öresund Region is and entails. Listen to lectures and discussions and visit the fair and speak to groups and organisations from both Malmö and Copenhagen.

24/1 – 08:30-17:00 Hoffice at Storm

Welcome to set up office at Storm (Gäddan, Citadellsvägen 7). Bring your laptop and get started on that to-do-list in a distraction-free zone.

Inspired by the concept Hoffice, the day will be split into 45-minute silent working sessions with energizing breaks in-between. At the beginning of each session, everyone tells the group what they’re going to work on, and at the end of each session we check in with each other to see what we managed to get done.

This spring Storm invites you to Movie for Change – 5 individual movie nights all on the theme of sustainability. 

On the theme of Sustainable Development Goal number 12 – Responsible consumption and production, we will kick the semester off with the movie The True Cost. A movie about the clothes we wear, the people who make them, and the impact the industry is having on our world. Special guests of the evening are Kim Gerlach from Vinokilo/Drivhuset and Jian Chen from SOPACT.

Worried you’ll get hungry? Pre-order a dinner wrap from Café Vindstilla at self-cost (food order deadline January 28th). There is also a microwave available. Feel free to bring some snacks!

This spring Storm invites you to Movie for Change – 5 individual movie nights all on the theme of sustainability. 

On the theme of Sustainable Development Goal number 14 – Life below water, February’s film is Chasing Coral. The world’s oceans – their temperature, chemistry, currents and life – drive global systems that make the Earth habitable for humankind. But coral reefs around the world are vanishing at an unprecedented rate. A team of divers, photographers and scientists set out on a thrilling ocean adventure to discover why and to reveal the underwater mystery to the world.
